AEC Development Partners brings over 30 years of experience in the design and construction sector. We are a Certified General Contractor licensed and insured in the state of Florida, with design partners licensed in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Our experience is based on the design and construction of projects in the private and public sectors.
We perform primarily as a lead general contractor. Our past client list includes Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Ramada, and multiple multifamily and retail/office developers. We also partner with other General Contractors to execute as a subcontractor performing earthwork, concrete, masonry, and interior finishes

MEET OUR TEAM
Daniel Perdomo – Founder and CEO
Daniel manages growth at AEC Development; his primary efforts include operations and business development.
Prior to founding AEC Development, Daniel was a Director at Urban Investment Partners responsible for developing multifamily and mixed-use projects in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Earlier in his career, Daniel worked for some of the most highly recognized architecture, engineering, and construction firms in the U.S; among them Parsons and AECOM.
Daniel holds a professional degree in Real Estate Finance and Development from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Architecture and Project Management from the University of Maryland.
Alejandro Robles - CFO
Alejandro J Robles has over 20 years of experience in finance and project management experience. As a finance leader, Alejandro has a proven track record of success in financial analysis, project management, forecasting, cost accounting, KPI development and reporting, and people management. His experience includes living and working as a Business Manager and Project Manager in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. His role over the last five years as a Financial Manager includes leading a team of financial analysts abroad and a developer in the accounting/finance department. The past 20 years of his career have been dedicated to serving federal clients such as the Army Corp of Engineers, Navy, and Air Force. Alejandro holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. He has a Financial Management certification from Cornell University. Alejandro enjoys family time with his wife and two kids.
Ray Basham - Architect
Ray is AEC’s lead architect. He brings over 50 years of experience in design, planning, and construction administration. In the last four decades, Ray has designed restaurants, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, multi-family, and senior housing developments throughout the U.S. In 2016 after leading major ground-up development projects and expansion programs with some of the most reputable architecture firms in America, Ray finally chose to make Florida his home.
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, as well as a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board. He is a licensed architect in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. Ray is a former Ohio State University alumnus. When he is not enjoying Buckeyes’ games, he enjoys exploring new Bay area adventures with his kids.
Mario Bocaranda - Project Manager
As a project manager for AEC Mario focuses on hotel, hospitality, and high-rise condo construction. Originally from Venezuela, architect Mario has over twenty-five years of experience in design, planning, and construction.
Over the years, Mario specialized in luxurious, high-rise, hotel projects. Mario worked on the design and construction of the Gran Melia in Caracas among other exclusive hotels throughout Aruba and the Caribbean. In 2015 Mario moved to Miami, FL, and joined the American Institute of Architects as an International Associate.
